Chase, Trilegiant Settle WIth 17 States For $14.5M

Law360, New York (December 12, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Chase Bank USA and Trilegiant Corp. agreed Monday to pay 17 states a combined $14.5 million to settle allegations that they used deceptive means to lure thousands of consumers into signing up for unwanted membership programs.
