Hartford Faces Class Cert. In Cell Phone Policy Suit

Law360, New York (February 11, 2010, 4:34 PM EST) -- A T-Mobile USA Inc. customer who claims the Hartford Financial Services Group overcharged her for cell phone insurance has moved to certify a class of up to hundreds of thousands of fellow subscribers.

Wineesa Cole filed a motion Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California seeking certification of a class of individuals in the state who paid fees for cell phone insurance above Hartford’s “filed rates.”
