Rajaratnam Appeals Judge’s Ruling On Wiretaps

Law360, New York (February 11, 2010, 5:32 PM EST) -- Galleon Group LLC founder Raj Rajaratnam and Danielle Chiesi, his co-defendant in an insider trading case, have appealed a court order requiring them to provide the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission with wiretap recordings the U.S. Department of Justice made of their activities.

Rajaratnam and Chiesi filed an appeal Wednesday with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, after Judge Jed Rakoff of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York denied their request to stay his ruling from Tuesday....
