NY Topdot Loan Officers Seek Class Status In OT Case

Law360, New York (February 16, 2010, 12:56 PM EST) -- Premium Capital Funding LLC's New York-based loan officers have asked a federal judge to certify a class numbering in the hundreds for their state law claims seeking overtime pay and damages from the home lender, which does business as Topdot Mortgage.

Friday's motion, in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, was accompanied by a memorandum noting that many loan officers already had opted in on Federal Labor Standards Act claims in the case, initially lodged in November 2008 by named plaintiffs...
