Google, Rescuecom Drop Web Ad Trademark Spat

Law360, New York (March 5, 2010, 6:12 PM EST) -- Computer repair and support company Rescuecom Corp. and technology giant Google Inc. have agreed to lay down their swords in a case accusing Google of infringing and diluting the Rescuecom trademark by selling it as an Internet search keyword to the plaintiff's rivals.

Judge Norman A. Mordue of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York signed off Friday on a stipulation to dismiss all claims between the parties without prejudice.
