Sanofi-Aventis Units Look To Toss False Claims Suit

Law360, New York (March 9, 2010, 1:48 PM EST) -- Two Sanofi-Aventis SA divisions have asked a federal court to toss a whistleblower's False Claims Act suit that alleges the companies' drug representatives provided illegal kickbacks to doctors for prescribing cancer symptom treatment, heart attack prevention and blood pressure drugs.
