Adelphia Revises Chapter 11 Plan Yet Again

Law360, New York (December 20, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Trying to secure creditor approval, Adelphia Communications Corp. has made a number of slight modifications to its fifth amended plan of reorganization in hopes of satisfying the crucial voters.

On Tuesday, the beleaguered cable provider presented the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Manhattan with a reworked version of its recently filed fifth Chapter 11 plan.

The proposed alterations included a number of fairly technical changes, such as modifying the percentage from 16.7% to 16.9% of shares of common stock that are to be withheld, court documents reveal....
