9/11 Rescue Workers Reach $575M Deal With NYC

Law360, New York (March 12, 2010, 1:33 PM EST) -- Attorneys representing more than 10,000 rescue, recovery and debris removal workers who sued the city of New York and contractors over injuries sustained at the World Trade Center after 9/11 have hammered out a $575 million settlement, to be paid by the federal taxpayer-funded WTC Captive Insurance Co.
