JPMorgan Tech Support Workers' OT Suit Crashes

Law360, New York (March 29, 2010, 3:15 PM EDT) -- JPMorgan Chase & Co. has won summary judgment in a proposed collective action filed by technical support staff members claiming the banking giant waited too long to reclassify them as nonexempt from overtime compensation.

Judge Colleen McMahon granted summary judgment to JPMorgan and denied the plaintiffs’ conditional bid for class certification as moot Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
