Wells Fargo FLSA Collective Suit Restricted To Ill.

Law360, New York (March 30, 2010, 3:58 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has barred a group of Wells Fargo & Co. credit managers from pursuing any claims on behalf of a nationwide class in their overtime suit, but she greenlighted collective claims for a putative Illinois class.

To the extent that the complaint can be read to seek relief for a nationwide collective action, those allegations are stricken, Judge Joan Humphrey Lefkow ruled in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois on Monday.
