CNet Founder Owes Sotheby's $4.4M For Paintings

Law360, New York (March 31, 2010, 3:20 PM EDT) -- Auction house Sotheby's Inc. has won its breach of contract suit against Halsey Minor, founder of CNet Networks Inc., who allegedly reneged on a deal to buy three paintings, including an Andy Warhol.

Judge Barbara S. Jones found Tuesday that Minor owes nearly $4.4 million, plus interest, late charges and legal fees, according to her order in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
