Sony DVRs Infringe Patent Held By Command Audio, Court Rules

Law360, New York (June 22, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Sony’s digital video recorders infringe a patent held by Command Audio Corp., a U.S. District Court has ruled.

The lawsuit is the latest legal onslaught in the fiercely competitive market for DVRs, set-top boxes that record television programming onto a built-in hard drive.
