4th Circ. Won't Rehear Star's Reed Smith Contract Suit

Law360, New York (May 11, 2010, 7:00 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has refused a request by Star Broadcasting Inc. to rehear its appeal of a malpractice suit it brought against Reed Smith LLP, which it accused of botching a contract for Star to run a satellite radio network in U.S. military commissaries.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit on Tuesday gave no details of why it rejected Star's bid for a rehearing, which the Minnesota-based company filed April 28.
