Sprint Sues Palm, Sanyo, Kyocera For DTL Defense

Law360, New York (May 19, 2010, 5:18 PM EDT) -- Accused of infringing Digital Technology Licensing LLC’s patent for cell phone technology, Sprint Nextel Corp. has dragged its suppliers Sanyo North America Corp., Kyocera Communications Inc. and Palm Inc. into the action, claiming they are obligated to pay Sprint’s defense costs and potential liabilities.
