Mesa Wins Delay In Breakup Of Delta Service Contract

Law360, New York (May 24, 2010, 7:52 PM EDT) -- A judge has allowed bankrupt Mesa Air Group Inc. to continue acting as a regional carrier for Delta Air Lines Inc. on a temporary basis while it considers appealing a ruling in a contract dispute that allowed Delta to dump Mesa for failing to maintain a service benchmark.

Judge Martin Glenn issued a ruling in a brief hearing on Monday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York giving his blessing to the deal, providing for service to continue through Aug. 31....
