Target Quickly Exits Spat Over 4 Ethernet Patents

Law360, New York (May 26, 2010, 6:52 PM EDT) -- Just days after Target Corp. was added as a defendant with eight other companies to a patent infringement suit regarding Ethernet technology, plaintiff U.S. Ethernet Innovations LLC has decided to voluntarily dismiss the retail giant from the suit.

Judge Leonard Davis of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas signed off on the dismissal Tuesday. USEI did not disclose in court papers why it had dismissed Target.
