Accounting Firm Sues George Clinton Over Unpaid Bill

Law360, New York (June 4, 2010, 2:51 PM EDT) -- An entertainment industry accounting firm has sued godfather of funk George Clinton over the allegedly unpaid $264,000 bill he racked up in his legal pursuit of record labels for royalty payments.

New York-based accounting firm Wlodinguer & Erk CPAs PLLC slapped Clinton with the suit Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, that he hadn't paid anything on the multimillion-dollar tab that helped him launch his own suits against Universal Music Group Inc. and Electric & Musical Industries Ltd....
