Standard Parking Settles Calif. Wage Action For $4.2M

Law360, New York (June 4, 2010, 3:34 PM EDT) -- Standard Parking Corp. has reached a $4.2 million settlement with current and former parking attendants, valets and cashiers in California who claimed the company failed to pay them minimum wage and overtime and to provide meal breaks.

The settlement, filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, would include approximately 7,100 current and former Standard Parking employees throughout the state stretching back to April 14, 2008.
