5 Of 7 Claims Against Fox Tossed In Madoff Tape Spat

Law360, New York (June 23, 2010, 3:22 PM EDT) -- A federal court has dismissed most of the claims a videographer brought against Fox News Networks LLC over the company's use of footage of imprisoned Ponzi schemer Bernard L. Madoff, but will allow the suit to move forward on infringement and breach of contract claims.

On Tuesday, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York dismissed claims brought by Kenneth R. Stadt for breach of fiduciary duty, unjust enrichment, unfair competition, conversion and deceptive trade practices.
