Carolina Casualty D&O Policy Ambiguous: 2nd Circ.

Law360, New York (July 1, 2010, 3:38 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit found that a directors and officers policy issued to homeland security consulting firm Community Research Associates by Carolina Casualty Insurance Co. is ambiguous, reversing a lower court's grant of summary judgment to the insurer in a coverage dispute over a merger.
