Alitalia Joins Air France-KLM, Delta Joint Venture

Law360, New York (July 6, 2010, 1:58 PM EDT) -- Air France-KLM and Delta Air Lines Inc. have added Italian air carrier Alitalia to their trans-Atlantic joint venture, creating a network that represents 26 percent of total trans-Atlantic capacity and is expected to bring in annual revenues of more than $10 billion.

The move, announced Monday, will allow Alitalia to share revenues and costs on all routes between North America and Europe, as well as on routes between Amsterdam and India, and North America and Tahiti.
