Datascape, Sony Settle Cell Phone Patent Row

Law360, New York (July 8, 2010, 2:40 PM EDT) -- Datascape Inc. and Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications Inc. have struck a deal resolving allegations that Sony’s cell phones infringe several patents covering wireless handset technology.

Judge Clarence Cooper of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia signed off on the settlement Wednesday, filing under seal the terms of the agreement and dismissing all claims and counterclaims between the parties.
