AT&T, Verizon Settle 'Girls Gone Mobile' IP Suit

Law360, New York (July 13, 2010, 2:13 PM EDT) -- The proprietor of the “Girls Gone Wild” video empire has settled its trademark infringement and unfair competition suit against the wireless affiliates of AT&T Inc., Verizon Corp. and other companies over their use of the name "Girls Gone Mobile."

Judge S. James Otero dismissed Mantra Films Inc. and GGW Marketing LLC's allegations against AT&T Mobility LLC, Verizon Wireless, Oasys Mobile Inc. and Thumbplay Inc. at the parties' request in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California on Monday.
