Judge Refuses To Overturn Pooh Copyright Decision

Law360 (July 23, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A California judge has refused to retroactively disqualify the judge who ended the long-running dispute over Winnie the Pooh royalties in favor of the Walt Disney Co.

Orange County Superior Court Judge Nancy Wieben Stock rejected Stephen Slesinger Inc.’s attempt to have Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Charles McCoy recuse himself.
