InMotion Slams Studios With Indexing Patent Suit

Law360, New York (August 16, 2010, 5:52 PM EDT) -- InMotion Imagery Technologies Inc. has launched a fresh offensive in its war over a video indexing patent, slapping a host of film production companies with a new infringement suit as its action against another group of studios rages on.

InMotion lodged its complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Friday, accusing 15 more movie studios and affiliates — including Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment LLC, Paramount Home Entertainment Inc. and Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc. — of infringing its U.S. Patent...
