Morgan Stanley Loses Bid To Dismiss Casino Case

Law360, New York (February 16, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge said Thursday that a high-ranking Atlantic City casino employee can proceed with her lawsuit against Morgan Stanley over a $1 billion casino deal.

Audrey Oswell, the former chief executive officer of Resorts International Hotel Inc., alleges that she had an agreement with Morgan Stanley to acquire a site for a casino and to work at the casino once developed, but that the firm backed out of the deal.
