Qualcomm, Nokia, Others Cleared In Antitrust Suit

Law360, New York (February 23, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- In yet another setback for Golden Bridge Technology Inc., a federal judge in Texas has dismissed the wireless technology firm’s antitrust suit against a group of cell phone giants after ruling it failed to prove the rivals conspired against its technology.

The summary judgment ruling in the Eastern District of Texas, issued Feb. 16, put a decisive end to Golden Bridge’s case, which was filed in May 2005 against major players in the industry, including Qualcomm Inc., Motorola Inc., Ericsson Inc., Alcatel-Lucent SA, Nokia Inc., NTT...
