Supreme Court Refuses To Hear Immigration Appeal

Law360 (February 26, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court declined to hear a worker immigration lawsuit Monday, almost a year after the Court remanded the case.

Mohawk Industries wanted the Court to overturn a September ruling by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, which revived racketeering charges accusing the company of hiring illegal immigrants to depress wages for thousand of legal workers.
