Snapple Tries To Quench Suit Over 'All Natural' Claims

Law360, New York (September 20, 2010, 1:33 PM EDT) -- Snapple Beverage Corp. has asked a federal judge to throw out what's left of a failed class action over the company's "all natural" label claim, saying the plaintiffs have no way of proving they were deceived into paying a premium for the drinks based on that claim.

The individual plaintiffs' allegations under New York's consumer protection laws, as well as claims of unjust enrichment and breach of express and implied warranty, should be nixed, Snapple said Friday in a summary judgment motion lodged in the U.S....
