Monster Exec's Appeal Could Affect Reporter Privilege

Law360, New York (September 21, 2010, 4:26 PM EDT) -- In a suit that could affect rules on journalists' responsibility to testify, lawyers for former Monster Worldwide Inc. executive Jim Treacy on Tuesday urged a federal appeals court to reverse his stock options backdating conviction, saying he was denied a constitutional right to fully cross-examine a Wall Street Journal reporter.
