CVS Workers' OT Class Action Slimmed

Law360, New York (September 23, 2010, 5:00 PM EDT) -- CVS Pharmacy Inc. has won its bid to nix two claims and several requests for relief in a putative class action filed by two pharmacists who accused the company of failing to pay them overtime wages.

Judge S. James Otero granted CVS's motion to dismiss and strike the claims in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California on Wednesday, ordering the plaintiffs to file an amended complaint before Oct. 26.
