High Court Takes On Boeing's $3B Navy Contract Spat

Law360, New York (September 28, 2010, 12:13 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court has agreed to hear Boeing Co. and General Dynamics Corp.'s claims that the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit improperly let the federal government invoke state secrets to defeat a challenge to its termination of a U.S. Navy contract for A-12 stealth aircraft.

The cases, which will be consolidated for oral argument, were picked up by the high court Monday. While the petitions for writ of certiorari raised other concerns about the appellate process, only questions related to state secrets...
