Tactronics Sues US Over Lost $374M Army Contract

Law360, New York (September 30, 2010, 4:40 PM EDT) -- Defense contractor Tactronics Holdings LLC has filed suit against the U.S. government over an estimated $374 million contract for tank gear that allegedly went to WestWind Technologies Corp. without any public notice that bidding was open.

The Army Tank-Automotive Armaments Command steered the work toward WestWind without even soliciting bids, Tactronics claims in a bid protest filed Thursday in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
