Aldus, Investors End Fight Over Pay-To-Play Claims

Law360, New York (October 4, 2010, 5:16 PM EDT) -- Beneficiaries of a New Mexico pension fund have settled claims against Aldus Equity LLC in a putative breach of contract and fraud class action alleging Aldus advised the state's retirement board to make risky investments for its own political gain.

Donna J. Hill and Yolanda Chacon-Valle, who sued on behalf of beneficiaries of the state's Educational Retirement Fund, and Aldus filed a stipulated notice of dismissal Friday in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico.
