GAO Sustains Protest Of Air Force Contract Request

Law360, New York (October 15, 2010, 2:15 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office has sided with a Maryland-based firm that contended experience requirements tied to a U.S. Air Force contract for family and community health services at military bases were too restrictive.

In sustaining the protest by Total Health Resources, the GAO said the Air Force failed to explain why the experience requirements at issue couldn't be satisfied by a subcontractor or other teaming partner.
