Class Certified In Calif. Overtime Action Against Oracle

Law360, New York (October 22, 2010, 12:24 PM EDT) -- A California judge has granted class certification to an estimated 3,000 employees of Oracle Corp. who allege that the technology giant misclassified them as exempt from overtime pay requirements.

Judge Steven A. Brink of the Superior Court of the State of California, Alameda County, on Friday certified three subclasses to pursue claims that Oracle misclassified employees as exempt from state and federal overtime mandates.
