Dubai Bank Off Hook In Port Authority's 9/11 Suit

Law360, New York (October 19, 2010, 7:17 PM EDT) -- The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has dropped its claims against Dubai Islamic Bank and the Muslim World League in a suit claiming charities and banks gave al-Qaida the financial support it needed to attack the U.S. on 9/11.

Judge George B. Daniels of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York signed off on the stipulated dismissal Monday, which relates to one case in the multidistrict litigation over the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.
