Claims Trimmed In Conde Nast Web Contract Suit

Law360, New York (October 21, 2010, 2:54 PM EDT) -- Conde Nast Publications has won the dismissal of the remaining counterclaims brought by Activ8media LLC in Conde Nast's breach of contract suit — among them unfair competition and trade secret misappropriation claims — but it could reface a trademark infringement counterclaim.

Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on Wednesday signed an order dismissing Activ8media's seven remaining counterclaims, which included allegations of trade secrets misappropriation, unjust enrichment, unfair competition and civil conspiracy.
