SEC Denied Quick Win Against Ex-US Foodservice Exec

Law360, New York (October 22, 2010, 1:41 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has rejected a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission motion for summary judgment in its civil case against Mark Kaiser, the former marketing chief of U.S. Foodservice Inc., basing the decision on the recent toss of a criminal conviction against him for an $800 million accounting fraud at the company.
