Icahn Ups Tender Offer For Lionsgate

Law360, New York (October 22, 2010, 1:31 PM EDT) -- Activist investor Carl Icahn on Friday increased the heat on the management of Lions Gate Entertainment Corp., extending a $7.50-per-share tender offer to the company's shareholders.

Icahn, who has been battling the company's management since April, said the $7.50 offer would expire on Nov. 1.

A representative for Lionsgate could not immediately be reached for comment.

Friday's bid is the third by the billionaire investor, upping a $6.50 July offer that expired in August.
