Toll Brothers Hit With Wage-And-Hour Action

Law360, New York (October 25, 2010, 3:12 PM EDT) -- Luxury-home builder Toll Brothers Inc. and one of its subcontractors have been hammered with a collective action alleging they failed to pay workers for overtime hours worked.

Queens, N.Y., resident Dariusz Nowicki — who was employed by K.S. Construction Co. as a driver and floor layer from September 2006 to March 2010 — filed suit Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, seeking compensatory damages, liquidated damages, attorneys' fees and prejudgment interest.
