BofA Sues Fraudster Starr Over $500K Loan

Law360, New York (October 26, 2010, 11:41 AM EDT) -- Bank of America NA has lodged a suit against infamous money manager Kenneth Ira Starr — who pled guilty in September to a $59 million fraud scheme — over an unpaid $500,000 loan.

The bank filed its complaint Thursday in the Supreme Court of the State of New York, seeking to recoup the half-million dollars, plus another $12,000 in interest and fees. The suit also names Starr's company, Starr Investment Advisors LLC, as a co-defendant.
