Western Titanium Wants Some Jurors Dropped

Law360, New York (October 27, 2010, 4:36 PM EDT) -- Western Titanium Inc. and its former CEO, under indictment for allegedly selling substandard fighter jet materials to military contractors, have asked a court to excuse more than a dozen prospective jurors based on their work in law enforcement.

In a trial brief lodged Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California, Western Titanium’s lawyers argued that the court should drop 14 of 45 members of a venire panel because they currently or formerly worked with law enforcement or investigative agencies.
