SAP Ends Fight Over Infringement In Oracle Suit

Law360, New York (October 29, 2010, 4:31 PM EDT) -- Business software provider SAP AG has admitted liability for contributory infringement of Oracle International Corp.'s software copyrights, leaving only damages at stake in a trial scheduled to begin Monday in the long-running suit.

Counsel for SAP and Oracle filed letters in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on Thursday indicating that SAP would not contest the contributory infringement claims at trial.
