Allstate Fraud Suit Stayed Pending Related Appeal

Law360, New York (November 1, 2010, 5:41 PM EDT) -- With the dismissal of a proposed fraud class action against Allstate Insurance Co. over fire property damage reimbursements headed for an appeal, a federal judge has stayed an overlapping case accusing the insurer of willfully refusing to pay for potentially tens of millions of dollars worth of repairs.
