Judge Squashes Hostess Trans Fat Labeling Suit

Law360, New York (November 4, 2010, 2:43 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has determined that a class action complaint alleging Hostess Brands Inc. falsely advertised a line of snack foods as having no trans fat is preempted by federal laws and U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulations governing the labeling of certain foods.
