Judge Gives Delta A Fourth Extension

Law360, New York (March 19, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A bankruptcy judge has given Delta Air Lines more time to file its exclusive plan for reorganization, granting the beleaguered air carrier exclusivity until June.

In an order issued Thursday, Judge Adlai S. Hardin, Jr. of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court of the Southern District of New York gave Delta until June 1 instead of April 16. The Atlanta-based airline had asked for an extension because its confirmation hearing was not scheduled until April 25.
