Vision Airlines Faces $5M Verdict In Hazard Pay Case

Law360, New York (November 11, 2010, 6:29 PM EST) -- Government subcontractor Vision Airlines Inc. has been slapped with a $4.5 million verdict in a class action that accused it of pocketing hazard pay that was supposed to go to crew members who manned flights into war zones in Iraq and Afghanistan.

A jury in the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada handed down a verdict saying the class was owed more than $4.5 million in damages Tuesday.
