2nd Circ. Remands State Claims In Pfizer Firing Suit

Law360, New York (November 17, 2010, 5:43 PM EST) -- A federal appeals court on Wednesday denied a former Pharmacia Inc. executive's bid to revive False Claims Act allegations in his retaliation suit accusing parent Pfizer Inc. of firing him for bringing a qui tam complaint, while finding that a lower court improperly granted the drugmaker summary judgment on the plaintiff's state law claims.
