Enterprise Rent-A-Car Unit Slapped With FLSA Action

Law360, New York (November 18, 2010, 2:06 PM EST) -- A former employee of an Enterprise Holdings Inc. unit has launched a proposed class action alleging the car-rental subsidiary wrongly denied him and others overtime compensation and refused to pay assistant managers during training.

In a lawsuit filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California, a former assistant manager for Enterprise Rent-A-Car Co. of Los Angeles LLC claimed the company violated the Fair Labor Standards Act. He is seeking pay for overtime and training hours going back four years.
